Through the small grants programme, CCRIF finances small disaster risk reduction projects conceptualized and managed by non-governmental organizations (NGOs), community-based organizations (CBOs), charity organizations in local communities across CCRIF member countries and/or CARICOM member countries. Each project should fall within the range of US$5,000 to US$25,000.

El Gobierno ha adquirido cobertura de seguro paramétrico para exceso de lluvia, efectiva a partir del 1 de junio de 2023. El director ejecutivo del CCRIF, el Sr.
Gran Caimán, Islas Caimán, 3 de julio de 2023. La Unión Europea (UE) sigue brindando apoyo al CCRIF SPC como medio para subsidiar las primas de las pólizas de seguro paramétrico de sus miembros del Caribe. Este año de póliza, que comenzó el 1o de junio 2023, la UE proporcionó US$4,7 millones al CCRIF para apoyar a los 12 miembros caribeños del CCRIF que son elegibles para ODA1 para subsidiar las primas para ciclones tropicales y exceso de lluvia.
Gran Caimán, Islas Caimán, 29 de marzo de 2023. El jueves, 16 de marzo de 2023, el CCRIF SPC y el Centro de Coordinación para la Prevención de los Desastres en América Central y República Dominicana (CEPREDENAC) firmaron un memorando de entendimiento (MdE) al margen del Taller Técnico Regional para Centroamérica sobre el Financiamiento del Riesgo de Desastres y el Seguro Paramétrico del CCRIF llevado a cabo en Ciudad de Panamá, Panamá los días 15 y 16 de marzo de 2023.
