This event briefing describes the impact of rainfall on extreme north region of The Bahamas, which was associated with a Covered Area Rainfall Event (CARE) starting on 13 May 2025 and ending on 13 May 2025. The Rainfall Index Loss (RIL) for the Covered Area Rainfall Event was below the attachment point of The Bahamas’ Excess Rainfall policy for the Extreme North1, and therefore no payout is due to the Government of The Bahamas.
