This event briefing describes the impact of rainfall on Trinidad. Trinidad and Tobago has 2 Excess Rainfall policies: one for Trinidad and one for Tobago. This rainfall was associated with a Covered Area Rainfall Event (CARE) in Trinidad, starting on 10 June and ending on 13 June 2025. The Rainfall Index Loss (RIL) for the Covered Area Rainfall Event was below the attachment point of Trinidad and Tobago’s Excess Rainfall policy for Trinidad, and therefore no payout is due to the Government.
