Job Opportunity - Client Insurance Specialist

The Client Insurance Specialist is a full-time technical role, with responsibility for CCRIF’s core insurance activities. This role will work closely with the Senior Client Insurance Specialist to administer insurance policies, from issuance and claims processing to renewals; manage communications with clients at various stages in the policy cycle; and to support capacity building initiatives. The role requires a deep understanding of insurance and reinsurance, with a focus on policy wording and claims. 

The ideal candidate for this role will have a Master's degree in Risk Management or Insurance with a minimum of 7 years' relevant experience.  Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with 12 years' experience can be considered.  Experience in insurance underwriting (specifically catastrophe coverages), policy issuance, and claims management is a must. The ability to work virtually, travel occasionally, and manage a flexible schedule across time zones is a requirement.

The successful candidate must have excellent oral and written communications skills in English. Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset.
