The HR Specialist is an independent contractor position, fully remote, with responsibility for providing dedicated human resources expertise to CCRIF SPC[1], reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Operating outside the organisation's internal operational structure, the HR Specialist will support strategic people planning, oversee the full contractor engagement lifecycle, develop HR policies and governance frameworks, advise on multi-jurisdictional labour law and compliance, implement performance management systems, and manage contractor relations and HR administration across a fully remote, geographically dispersed team.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or a related field, with a postgraduate qualification or professional certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) considered an asset; and have a minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, including demonstrated expertise managing independent contractor workforces and multi-jurisdictional labour law compliance.
The successful candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate HR considerations into clear guidance for senior leadership.
