Job Opportunity - Actuarial Analyst

The Actuarial Analyst is a full-time, technical role, supporting the Senior Actuarial Analyst and the Chief Risk Management Officer with the underwriting of parametric insurance policies, developing dynamic financial analysis tools, managing risk appetite, and access to reinsurance coverage. The role requires a strong foundation in actuarial methods and catastrophe modelling capabilities for analysing the portfolio and producing risk management reports. In depth familiarity with insurance and reinsurance practices, including policy wording and claims analysis, will enhance the incumbent’s ability to contribute meaningfully. 

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Actuarial Science or Data Science and a minimum of three years' experience in a similar industry. Experience in at least two of the following areas is a must: actuarial methods, underwriting, catastrophe modelling, insurance, and reinsurance.  Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or Data Science paired with a minimum of five years' relevant industry experience fulfilling at least two of the aforementioned areas will be considered.

The successful candidate must have excellent oral and written communications skills in English. Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset.
